The controller for data processing on this website within the meaning of the GDPR is: Moritz Mick Müller - Digital Consulting Am Holunderbusch 26 40470 Düsseldorf, Germany Phone: +49 155 11705815 Email: hello@mearchy.com

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, and served from the Frankfurt am Main region. When you access the site, the provider automatically collects information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. Log files are deleted after 30 days.

Processing in the USA cannot be ruled out. It takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.

A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

3. Contact form and email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, company, store URL, budget range, message) in order to handle your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to entering into a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (interest in responding to enquiries).

For internal handling, your enquiry is also forwarded to our workspace at Slack Technologies Limited, One Park Place, Hatch Street Upper, Dublin 2, Ireland. Processing in the USA cannot be ruled out; it takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Slack.

The data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully handled and no statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Consent management

For services requiring consent we use our own solution without an external provider. On your first visit a notice at the bottom of the page asks whether statistics and marketing may be enabled. As long as no consent is given, no cookies are set and no identifiers are transmitted.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser only (localStorage, key "mearchy-consent") and is not transmitted to us or to third parties. You can change or withdraw it at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Clearing your browser data also removes the choice and we will ask again.

Technically we use Google Consent Mode v2. Before your consent, all consent types are set to "denied", ads_data_redaction is enabled and the passing of URL parameters is limited to what is necessary.

The legal basis for storing consent is Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 TDDG.

5. Google Analytics 4

Subject to your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Data processed includes a truncated IP address, device and browser information and interactions on the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TDDG.

A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. It takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.

6. Google Ads and conversion tracking

Subject to your consent, we use Google Ads including conversion tracking and remarketing. This lets us measure whether users take a specific action on our website after clicking an ad.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TDDG. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

7. External fonts

This website serves fonts locally. No connection to Google Fonts servers is established when the page loads.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).

You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2 to 4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.

9. Changes to this privacy policy

We update this privacy policy whenever the legal situation or the services we use change. The version available on this page applies.
